Great food! They have New York thin pizza for $8. We got pepperoni. Yum! The calamari was good too. Definitely going back next year to them too. Good food and reasonably priced.

Love love love this restaurant! We ate here a lot while staying at the fritz located right above the restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks...it's all good!!! They gave us a nice 20% discount on food for staying at the fritz. But remember to check your bill for the discount because it was nearly forgotten each visit. The outdoor patio was very nice. We lucked out and usually got the same table near the entrance. It was a bit more private than the other tables and had benches with patio cushions surrounded by trees and plants and the music was not over bearingly loud. Plus I did not feel like I was seating on the sidewalk eating automobile exhaust fumes, which seems to be the trend on ocean drive bistros and bars. One afternoon my son got stung by a jelly fish at south beach directly across the steet and bellini gave us a small takeaway container of white vinegar to help heal my son's wound. Overall I would eat there everyday when I return to miami, which couldn't be gast enough for me....Canadian winters are too cold.....minus 16 tonight with out the windchill factored in...ouch!!!

An update, hope manager or owner reads this, went back this evening for a late bite. Was treated rudely, initial waitress spoke NO English??? Asked about $10 menu/ 8 pizza was told by manager?...that I could only order ONE special, as it was limited.. but I could order one of their tourist trap 2 for 1 drinks...ughhhhh...NO mention of this on signs clearly posted outside, seemed to me that who ever worked this wet, monsoon of a evening did not want to wait on us nor cared. Ps.. There were three people in whole place at the time.. I LIVE here and wonder how they can stay in business with this type of service/attitude!! They made sure to clear table of additional silverware and glasses to further add insult to injury. Felt uncomfortable, and OBVIOUSLY to me they did NOT want my business nor where they getting any from me.. Too bad, went treated like a King one night to a peasant the next, no wonder there were three people in there and this place comes off as a another South Beach tourist rip off

Wonderful food and staff! They had $10 pasta and $8 pizza deals which were the least expensive in the area. The staff was welcoming and very friendly!

Loved the food!! My husband and I really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the seafood linguine and I was so pleased that they didn't skimp on the seafood. At $27 it was worth it! However, I hated that they included gratuity for a party of 2. We didn't realize and ended up tipping on top and didn't realize until we had left. Also we chose that restaurant because they had stuffed mushrooms on the online menu but they ended up not serving them when we got there.

I actually really enjoyed this place. We stopped by for lunch on a Thursday and we got a table outside. It wasn't too packed or noisy, it was perfect to catch up after a long morning at the beach. The staff was nice and the margarita pizza was sooooooo good! I mean, it was reeeeeeally good!! Hubby had a salad and he enjoyed it as well. Prices were descent too. I would definitely go back!

My husband was enticed to eat here by the beautiful hostess and I by the clam linguine and promise of 20% off. Tired of seafood, Italian food appealed. Great service, drinks were served immediately and so was the ample Caesar salad that we opted to share. My husband selected Chicken Parmesan and received a very large portion with an equally generous serving of pasta with red sauce. My clam dish nicely presented with clams still in shells. Pasta perfectly prepared. I was somewhat disappointed that it didn't have any distinct garlic or white wine to delight my taste buds...a bit bland. Also, the Sauvignon Blanc wine I opted for tasted more like a cheap Chardonnay. Disappointing at $12 When the bill arrived we had to ask for the discount but it was applied without hesitation.

Visited from NYC hostess talked us in to look at the menu. The seating was nice somewhat classy. I ordered the steak & avocado salad it was delicious !!! Will definitely go back when I go back to the area. The manager was a young handsome guy he was verrrry helpful. Made us feel welcomed.

  • Ryan B.

Food was pretty good. We all had pizzas that were well priced for the area. They were pretty good too with many different options. The service I was not that great. Winter would disappear for quite some time

We'd ordered food, the staff come with a special deal, which was terrible and charged 50 dollars for that rubbish!

Went here for a mid afternoon lunch/ dinner a few days ago. The hostess was friendly, but the service was extremely slow. We ordered drinks and a meal at the same time. Our meal arrived, drinks never did. When the meal came, I asked for parmasean cheese... It took them 5 minutes to run in and get it. We were the only people eating there so I became a little aggravated because my food was getting cold as I waited. When I looked up into the restaurant, I see our server with the bowl of parmasean in his hand, play fighting with the other staff. I let this slide until we realized our drinks still hasn't come. We complained, the manager was sitting at a table next to us, heard us complaining and did not bother to rectify the situation. Will never return...even if I'm dying of huger. That's how bad this place was.

Worst Risotto with steak I ever had!!!! Food is awful!!!! Poor server was embarrassed but he didn't cook this awful plate of food!! The appetizer should have been my first clue that this place was going to be underwhelming... They get 2stars because the waiter was nice!! #getanewchef

I had the vegetable panini & it was excellent. The mixed salad was a bit bland & boring though.

Being used to very slow service and sub par food during our Miami visit, we were pleasantly surprised by this place. 4 of us visited a few nights ago and really enjoyed it. We sat outside where they enticed us with a free glass of champagne. The place was clean and not too loud, but Ocean Drive is always bustling with people. It's a good place to hang out, eat, and people watch. Our waiter was very prompt and courteous. I read a previous review in which the waiters would hide prices and things like that, but ours was straight forward with every dish I asked about. We ended up going with the same italian platter mentioned in another review which was roughly $39 and had a lot of delicious meats, cheeses, and bruschetta on it. None of us regretted that decision. The pasta was very good as well. I believe I had some sort of ravioli (it was stuffed with cheese and spinach maybe) and added a chicken breast to it. We all were pleased with our meals and would recommend it.

Like most people we stumbled upon this place just walking up and down Ocean and was pulled in by a skimpily dressed woman offering up dinner and happy hr deals. Well we were a bit tired of walking so we popped and squat and we were not disappointed. The Italian food was delicious and my pina colada was delightful. My calamari was crispy and flavorful and my salmon was tender and on point. My husband said his seafood pasta was great. Its easy to pay for over priced subpar food on Ocean or Collins but this place didn't fall into the category at all. If your ever walking up and down the strip stop at this place for a good Italian Meal.

Horrible place. .. Big turn off..Complimentary bread basket had used butter pack in it. .means they just pass on basket from one customer to another Pricey. ..for one pasta and Italian rice, whopping bill of $60. Quality of food was average. In conclusion, when you have so many great restaurants are available on the ocean drive.

  • Zandria E.

Pizzas was crap! Staff calling customers f-ing idiots because everything seems like effort for them! Will not recommend this place for tourists!

  • Elaine L.

It is not what I expect for, the seafood is not fresh at all. And the price is expensive for those food, because it tastes very bad. The beef steak which I want medium, but they give us well done one.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I had my card information stolen yesterday FROM SOMEONE WITH THE LAST NAME GONZALEZ and more than $200 stolen from my account, if not more, from Bellini. I tried calling the restaurant countless times to discuss this with the person in charge and no one picks up. Not once. Unbelievable and irresponsible of the person in charge. I now have to cancel my card, file and fax two disputes against them with my bank, and spend my afternoon OFF at the bank taking out a new card then switching all my accounts to this new card number. All the while missing out on paying for a bill I had due today which I now have no money in my budget for. Once my bank takes care of this, I WILL be contacting local authorities for fraudulent charges on my card from both the restaurant AND the waiter.. and OHHHH hahaha, silly me, I forgot, for not checking ID when selling alcoholic beverages to minors. I hope this place goes out of business!

  • Amanda D.

Visited here while in SoBe.. Great drinks.. Great food.. But don't get the appetizers without prices on them.. They are $75 a piece! They're amazing and fresh but not worth $75 a price! Waiter was very nice and catered to our needs! It's right outside the Bentley Hotel (not to be confused with the Hilton Bentley Hotel). Must valet! ($20).

The positive- We stumbled upon this spot after walking the Strip on Ocean Dr. and getting tired of everyone trying to make you eat at their restaurant. This place was at the end, next door to the Bentley Hotel (which I love!!) We sat inside to get away from the crowds walking the strip. We only ordered entrees because we had noticed how big other people's portions were. I had the Risotto w shrimp, asparagus, scallops, and crab, in a tomato & basil sauce with a lobster tail on the side. It was one of the specials the waiter told us about, therefore we had no clue the price. Hubby ordered the Chicken w monzarella over mashed potatoes (boring, but he didn't mind, lol). Let me just say, we were both having food orgasms over my dish!! Every bite was pure heaven!! Turned out to be the best $50 meal I had in Miami!! We washed it down with Mango mojitos, huge mango mojitos!! It was great! The negative- The waiter took my credit card when it was time to pay for the bill, came back & told me it was declined. There was no way that could have been possible. I told him to try again, came back even quicker with the same story. I had just used that card an hour ago. Hubby thought it was a little fishy. We got to thinking maybe he was unfamiliar with my bank since it's from NY, and didn't trust my card. Hubby ended using his card. So I called my bank the next day, asked them why it would have been declined. They told me they had no record of my card ever being declined in the past 24 hours. Therefore the waiter never even swiped my card- just as suspected!! That was ridiculous!! Our meal was nearly $200, and your not even going to attempt to take my Visa!! The food was great, but I can deal w/o a bullshit embarrassment for no reason!!

I went to this restaurant and asked what where their specials for the day. This place usually has breakfast specials for 4.95 and lunch specials for 4.95 . Service usually horrible but food okay but For 4.95 can't really complain. I asked for the specials and picked one the waiter mentioned. It was only when I got the bill that I noticed the special was 80 bucks! And the other special was 50!!! When I asked why didn't he say something when I clearly was looking for REAL special he says " WE DONT USUALLY TELL THE PRICE " gratuity is included ... Which is a percentage off the bill.... They are crooks! Never again

    (1)
  • Custodio J.

It deserves zero stars, food is extremely over priced and not great at all, we waited 26 minutes just to be served bread to start . Waiter was never to be found . Avoid this place at all cost

    (1)
  • Yue F.

As mentioned in other reviews, it's a little bit pricy. We ordered a seafood combo which is highly recommended and it's not on the menu. FYI they automatically charge 18% gratuity.

    (3)
  • Badre B.

Please read the reviews... I did not! And here I am, with my stomach up side down and my wallet bankrupted! They first attract you with a menu, with standard pricing, but than show you how it look like (pretending these are the day specials from the menu) and of course, the person talking do not speak good english and will rather hurry and get you a table and get you something to drink! We ordered sea food, and since I am in Miami (and been to many placed, key west, downtown, etc.) this is clearly no fresh fish or sea food! Too much fat, and now having terrible digestion issues... Best of the best, or worst of the worst!? The bill: for two persons, +$150 for one shared platter and drinks... Yes, a fraud well organized, a fat unhealthy food and a service organized to trick customers... What a shame, Italian restaurant have a worldwide reputation and this ugly place is just a shame. If you want to check: have a look around you, as most restaurants on Lincoln road are full, not the Bellini and its Crook Band! Summary: Miami is great place with hundreds of excellent tables... This one is just the worst! N.B. as mentioned in other review: here they will force you to pay 18% gratuity (tips) as already on the bill, for a very poor service! You cannot even decide of the amount, it is just there!

  • Vanesa A.

Food was not worth the prices. I got the chicken alfredo and the chicken was tough and hard to chew. The service here was the worst service Ive ever gotten. I had to ask for some more water and once they brought it they came filled a random used cup on our table with no ice. Then I had to ask another server to bring me ice. They only came once to grab the bill. I will never come here again. The manager was rude as well.

  • Bailey R.

Ok, so I got drawn in by Italian food in Miami. I was craving some pasta and I thought this would do the trick. I sat in front, where I watched multiple hosts attack every customer and basically beg people to join them for dinner. I understand that you need to attract people, but this is not the way to do it. It makes your current customers feel cheap and like they made a mistaking dining there. Also, as a side note, just because you are speaking about customers in a different language at the host stand, does not mean I can't understand you. The food was over-priced and not worth it. I would have been better off going to TGIFs next door and I hate chains.

horrible service , horrible food, horrible servers on top of it big time rip offs. "AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE "

    (1)
  • Jin K.

They had 2 for 1 drinks. They were pretty good. We got an order of calamari. The marinara sauce that came with it was so bland. It's very disappointing when an Italian restaurant can't get the marinara sauce right. The bread was good but it only came with butter. I was expecting olive oil and pepper. Place doesn't seem very authentic. The waitress was friendly enough. She became inattentive later when we wanted the bill. From the couple places I've been to at the board walk, this seems to be pretty common.

FRAUD FRUAD FRUAD!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CARD NUMBERS STOLEN AND FRAUD ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS!!!!! I few friends and I decided to stop at this place for lunch and drinks. First we asked if we could have separate checks and the server said he could do it no problem. We eat, we drink, check comes and nothing is separated! We ask our server to separate the check for us and he gives us a pen to do it for him and draw on the check which is inconvenient but not a huge deal. We do all the work and somehow he still gets it wrong! We notice that the way he did it he would actually get screwed out of a tip from the people who paid cash. Being the nice people we were, we figured it out for him so he would not get screwed. And how do we get repaid??????? HE STEALS THE CARD NUMBERS OF THE 3 PEOPLE WHO PAID WITH CARDS!!!!! What kind of low life does that after we try to help him???? The management must be in on it too, because when I call the restaurant to tell them that 3 guests of their restaurant had their card numbers stolen from an employee there, he couldn't give two shits! He said there is no proof and he even THREATENED ME!!! That's right! He said if I wrote a bad Yelp review "there would be consequences." STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Want a fun and delicious drink? Try the BULLDOG, you cannot go wrong (unless you do not like Margaritas or Coronas - and if you do, what is wrong with you?!) These drinks were AMAZING and HUGE! I went on a girls trip to South Beach and one of these drinks and we were good for the evening. Not to mention, the cost is 2 for 1, so you cannot beat that! The atmosphere was fun, we sat on couches. The servers were helpful and funny. And the food was great. We all enjoyed our meals. This was the best night of our vacation; we sat for hours trying to finish our bulldogs and enjoying each otehrs company.

  • Haute Diva I.

Worst restaurant experience ever. These strip bistros make you pay the tip included in the total price, which is a terrible idea since that way the waiters don't have to do anything but take the order and disappear and never have to come back to even refill your water. All the girl did is write my order and then go stand with the other pretty chicks so they can attract more cusotmers. She never even returned once to refill our glasses on a hot boiling day. The food was barely ok and the prices were too high for the quality. I've paid less for better dishes. I almost asked for the manager about the bad serivce but decided not to ruin my vacation by getting upsetting about food. My suggestion to him or her is to stop charging the tip in the price so these girls can't actually do what they are supposed to do which is to make sure the customers are happy and taken care of unless he's really only interested in attracting customers by placing girls in shorts skirts in the front to grab people in. It's a long street with lots of competition and if all they care about is grabbing business, then they're going to have bad service and lots of unhappy customers.

Basic ocean drive tourist trap! The staff is really nice though, but come on who f**cks up gnocchi with plain tomato sauce??? I almost never throw food away, but this was just too bad!

Bellini catapults to the top of my "Just Desserts" list for their Fragola a Panna (strawberries with whipped cream) and my friend's Chocolate Surprise! Picture a generous helping of strawberries, topped with a fresh whipped creme acting as an antidote to the Miami summer heat. On top of that, drizzle a chocolate topping and you too can enjoy the dish I won't let you have :) I know reviews are supposed to be a first person experience, but I was visually tempted by my friend's choice since the brownie with fudge filling looked delish and earned a candidacy for my next visit. As a side note, if bread were considered a dessert, it would gain a fifth star! Soft, warm, with generous helpings of butter and a refill of a bread basket it was also molto bene. I passed on the comp bellinis after our meal, but my friend enjoyed her (and mine). Heck, we even got to enjoy some of the South Beach street theater I took part in pre-gray hair!

local10.com/news/bellini… local10.com/news/state-r… Please see the links above. This restaurant was really shut down for disgusting food violations. My mother ate there also and had her sunglasses stolen and the management was extremely rude to her and denied it. She was convinced it was the busboy when she went inside for a minute. Great location but unfortunately not clean due to the recent State investigation.

I went here with my boyfriend and his mother. They both had good meals-he got the New York steak and she got a pasta recommended by the waiter. I had a good salad-it was the first on the menu. However, I also ordered the eggplant appetizer and it was nothing but cheese. I couldn't even get through half of it. The drinks look fun but have very little alcohol, if any. The atmosphere was lovely, with great Spanish music playing. Our waiter was also very attentive and the service was great in general. If I ever went back I would probably get a pasta dish because it's made fresh.

When my family and I traveled to South Beach recently, we stayed at the hotel upstairs from Bellini. Because it was convenient, we tried it out. I ordered the Mahi Mahi platter which came with fresh mangos on top and a side of mashed potatoes and veggies. I thought my dish was out of this world! I normally don't eat a whole lot of fish, but I devoured every bite. With my dish, I ordered a Pina Colada, which was not that great. My brothers ordered drinks with their burgers and after tasting theirs too, I don't think this place has a decent bartender. The service was good, price was a little too high for what you order...but it was overall ok!

  • Rachel And Justin M.

I had to give this place 1 star because there wasn't a 0 star. Ugh. They try luring you in, saying they'll give you a bunch of freebies and discounts at the end of your meal, lies! Don't fall for their mischievous lies. The pizza taste like cardboard and the chicken wings are not that great. The entrees are whatever but I wouldn't pay as much as I did for that nonsense

  • Aparna S.

I am surprised this place is still doing business!! Its a complete RIP-OFF! Go here only if you want drama on your trip, with waiters using foul language and OVER CHARGING, me and my friends ended up calling the COPS!!! The worst experience food wise as well - lobster was rubbery n overcooked, pasta watery and appetizers served cold.... NEVER EVER GO HERE - let Miami be a pleasure trip, this place can only give sour memories!

  • Adalberto M.

Great spot on Ocean Drive for people watching. They have a decent $4.95 appetizer menu along with a $4.95 drink menu that includes Frozen pina coladas, strawberry daiquiri, and frozen bellini. It's $4.95, so don't expect an alcohol punch. Overall, nice place with decent pricees.

If I could put zero stars I would. We made the best of the place because we were in good company, BUT the prices were too high, the service sucked, our waiter didn't speak english and pretended he didn't know what we were talking about the WHOLE time. BUT, he definitely knew what he was doing when he SWIPED three credit cards of the three guys we were with. They all had fraudulent charges of over $1000 dollars on their debit cards. The rest of us paid cash so we were fine. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVER PRICED, and deal with credit card fraud by dishonest people.

Walking down the street, where every cafe was trying to get you to dine at their restaurant, we ended up at this Italian bistro. I thought it was quick of them to get us seated, but slow on greeting, giving us a menu, and taking our drink order. But when the food came, it was time to grub. We ordered the margarita pizza, which is very cheese with mozzarella cheese. I didn't mind that, but it's only good while hot. yummy cold pizza? Forget about that here. We gave the left over to a hungry, deserved bum in the area. We also had the linguine with sun dried tomato's and shrimp. That was actually good. The service wasn't bad, just a bit slow. At the end, they give you shots of their special cocktail for the day. That added a nice touch.

This place is a joke. Overpriced. Buy 1 get 1 free drinks. But they don't tell you that it's the most expensive size. $25 are they serious? Best part is that anyone in our group who used a credit card, their info was copied by most likely our server and fraud charges were made on 3 accounts. Do not go here!!!!

I had the luck of stumbling upon this place on Wednesday eve during their $10 Pasta Eve. I ordered the Vodka Penne with Salmon, and could not believe the incredible generous meal they served me for just $10 (plus tax and tip). The service was also incredible, mostly young men who were smiling, friendly and attentative. They served a warm focasia prior to my meal, and I was very pleased with the ambiance, quality of food and service.

I'm surprised to see all the horrible reviews for this restaurant, but it might explain why it was kind of empty when I was there. I stumbled upon Bellini on a recent trip to Miami and luckily had a good experience. My friends and I were hungry and decided to take a stroll down Ocean Drive. This was one of the first places we saw. Yes, prices are high, but the pizzas are fairly priced and that's really all we wanted. We got an order of fried calamari to start and then split two pizzas between the three of us. Everything tasted great and the pizzas were pretty big. We couldn't even finish them. We didn't get drinks because we planned to drink elsewhere after dinner. Overall, a good deal for yummy pizzas and nice location.

If I were comparing this place to other Ocean Drive restaurants, it would get a 4. Compared with restaurants virtually anywhere else, it's a 2. So, I am meeting in the middle. The seating area is really nice and even though the tables are close together, they do a good job of placing lights and umbrellas in such a way that you get a little privacy. We dined with 2 other adults and 2 kids, and despite the hostess initially thinking we needed extra seating for 2 dogs (ha!), they had no problem making an accomodation for a stroller. We ordered 2 salads (one arugula and not sure what the other was), the mixed seafood soup appetizer, soup of the day (veggie), a roasted veggie pizza with no cheese, and the lobster ravioli. The food was OK - I liked the arugula salad very much, and the seafood came in a really nice broth. I thought the bread they brought to the table was very nice, seasoned with a hint of rosemary, but not everyone agreed with me. The lobster ravioli was wickedly salty! Service was not good, but unlike many other Ocean Drive establishments, the staff meant well. It was inattentive and burdened by a lack of English skills (a busboy kept trying to take food we were still eating and couldn't understand us when said we were still eating it); however, it was friendly and pleasant. Probably wouldn't come back.

We stopped here for their happy hour special mostly because the hostess was so sweet and offered us good deals. She was from my country ESPANA too! We ordered 2 for one large drinks, and the strawberry mojito was delicious although not very strong. Our waitor was a very attractive and nice guy from Italy who was very attentive to our demanding needs (lol). The chicken wing appetizer was OK. My friends loved the eggplant parmesean but the pizza was weird tasting. I ordered the fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach with gravy. IT WAS AMAZING! So delicious. Only problem is the food took over an hour to come out! I have no idea what took so long or maybe our waitor forgot about us. It was good other than the long wait and spending over 2 hours there. The place is very cute and comfy and gives you a front seat view to people watch in the best part of South Beach on Ocean Drive. Overall I enjoyed this meal a lot and would recommend. Just make sure you be careful with the deals they offer (ALL restaurants on south beach promise the world to get customers in but they usually lead you on so just ASK questions!!!)

This is a good place, across the street from the beach. Very nice outdoor dining. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ate fried calamari, very nice and crunchy, prosciutto, very tasty and a seafood risotto which was very nicely prepared with fresh tasting seafood. The pinot grigio we ordered was served very cold and poured into chilled glasses which complemented the food very nicely. The negative reviews of this place seem to focus on pricing. This place is expensive and there were no special discounts offered. However, if you are prepared to spend the money I don't think you will be disappointed.

Normally, I wouldn't be caught dead dining anywhere on Ocean Drive. But I had a restaurant.com gift certificate for Bellini, so I took my mom and dad here for dinner. My expectations were low but we were pleasantly surprised. The outside tables were cozy and surrounded by bushes and string lights. Our waitress was great and so was the service. The olive tapenade they serve with the bread is nice. The 4 cheese pizza was great, thin crust, nice size and lots of cheese. Not greasy at all and I loved the gorgonzola on it. Definitely a safe bet. The grilled veggie panini was also nice, especially for the $10 price. I would like to see bread options other than white, so let's hope they're reading this. Spaghetti Carbonara- this dish is so simple yet I've seen it messed up so many times. Not so here. The spaghetti were perfectly al dente with just the right amount of sauce. Not too creamy, eggy or cheesy. My mom felt they were too salty but I love salty food. My dad's grilled chicken panini came with a huge portion of fries. So many that four of us didn't finish them. They served a round of complimentary frozen Bellini cocktails after dinner, another pleasant surprise. The dessert menu was somewhat uncreative and overpriced in my opinion ($8-$10 for dessert is hefty) so we skipped it entirely. All in all, one of the better Ocean Drive restaurants.

By far the best lasagna ive ever had ant the service provided by our waiter was definitely 5 star. Now why am i only giving the restaurant a 1? My boyfriend had specifically mentioned he did not want italian that night, the only reaosn why we stayed was because the hostes kindly offered us 30% off the entire meal. We decided to stay and after recieving our meal, we were both very pleased to have done so. The problem came once it was time to pay. The 30% was no where to be found on our check. I kindly reminded her and she passed the information on to the waiter. Once the check returned only 20% has been added. Now, its not about the money, we could easily have afforded the $88.00 meal. However, it was very upsetting to see that this is how clients are realled in and that even after being reminded she could not stick to her word. I would have loved to stay and watched how other customers who were offered the samediscount reacted but honestly, i could not wait to leave the place. Needless ,to say i will never be back. This tactic seriously cheapens the restaurant.

Came for just for drinks. With a group of 6 girls and getting in on the 2 for 1 drink special. Medium margaritas/mojitos were about $16 were a hefty drink. The strawberry mojito, mojito and mango margaritas were delicious. On a personal preference, the mango margarita was too sweet but you def get the essence of the mango taste and sweetness. The service was alright until we asked for the check. Took us asking them 3x, 15 minute wait and incorrect cacluations. This must be the way miami beach establishments work cause food and drinks come in a fast to moderate pace but the check takes forever. This restaurant was def one of the better of the few we explored on the strip.

A huge rip off!!! My husband and I went there for lunch today. We asked the prices of all the food and cocktails prior to ordering. The waitress did not speak perfect English, but we repeated the prices back. When the bill came we were charged more than double. A simple lunch of pizza and one appetizer cost us over $100. The person who said he was the manager pretended not to speak English. Avoid this place!!!!!there are dozens of other nicer places just up the avenue.

Went here for their breakfast special. The waiter was slightly off to begin with. We changed our order, the guy repeated the changed order, and comes back with the original order plus the changed order. Then he claimed we had ordered all of it and shifts the blame to us to make us feel stupid and says, fine I can void one of these. Then the server appears with 2 juices and 2 coffees, instead of the one juice and one coffee we CLEARLY ordered, and he CLEARLY repeated. I tried returning it, then the waiter comes and says what's wrong, this is what you ordered and once again attempts to make us look bad for returning drinks. The waiter seemed to know clearly what he was doing, I don't think he was as stupid as he played off. Afterall it's Ocean Drive and a tourist spot, they can get away with a lot here. The check wasn't crazy expensive but the sheer principal of the guy adding random things (extra juices, coffees and an additional $5 special breakfast meal) to our check and making us feel stupid for his own scheme doesn't sit well with me.

Ripoff. First, they told us we would get a 20% discount if we ate there. We decided to eat there. Then, they said we would also get a free bellini. Great deal, right? We sat down, told the waiter about the bellini. He brought out this baby bellini that was completely watered down. Insulting. Then, the hostess didn't tell him about the 20% discount so we didn't get it. It took them so long to come to our table every time (seriously, so long and we are patient people) that by the time he came to pick up the check again, we didn't even care to remind him about the discount. The staff was just rude, communication was terrible, and anyone here saying this place has "Huge margaritas" should literally just walk to any other restaurant on ocean dr...they all offer the 36oz margaritas. Avoid dining on ocean dr. period. It's not worth it.

Short review: STAY AWAY Long Review: The hostess lured my family and I in with the promise of a 25% discount off of "anything on the menu" just because we were guests at the Carlyle. It was the kind of neighborly gesture which really warms your heart, so we accepted. She then proceeded to make the same 25% discount to each and every passerby on the street. Gosh, there must be a lot of people staying at the Carlyle tonight! Prior to ordering, I confirm with our server that we are supposed to get a 25% discount just so there aren't any misunderstandings. There are a whole of these kinds of "misunderstandings" on Ocean Drive. Our server, who kind of looked like Joseph Fiennes after a week-long Meth binge, tried to convince us to order one of the many "specials" that they were offering that evening. In case you don't already know, "special" in South Beach means "Especially Expensive." He also kept trying to add lobster to every item we ordered. "Oh you want some Calimari? Would you like me to put a lobster on top of that?" He may as well have asked, "Would you like add $40 to that?" We stuck to the decidedly un-special, lobster-free Calimari appetizer from the menu- $15 before the 25% discount. All Pizzas were on a Tuesday special of $8, so I ordered a cheese pizza for my son and I to share. Then I noticed that the regular menu price for a Margarita Pizza was $9 so I specifically asked the server if we could get that instead of the "special" so we could apply the 25% discount. He agreed. No problem. What a nice young man. My wife wished to order a linguini mixed seafood dish from the menu, which was about $25. The server said, if you like, we can do Risotto instead of the linguini. Now here's a guy who's really trying to knock the ball out of the park- all in the name of good customer service. He's going to swap out that boring old linguini for some Risotto just to put a big smile on my wife's face. My wife said that sounds good and agreed. We eat the meal which was fine, nothing special. Had to flag down the server a few times to get the complimentary bread and water refills. I wasn't that pissed. I know that when you order $0 water instead of $25 mixed drinks, you are basically a bottom-feeding sub-human life form on Ocean Drive. Then I ask for the bill. And that's when the fun began. First, there is no 25% discount anywhere on the bill. It's not my first rodeo on South Beach, so it's not like I'm surprised or anything (even though we had had a surprisingly good week to date on the deliberate rip-off front) So I call the server back and remind him about the discount. He studies the three-line item bill with furled brow, like it was some big f**king mystery and says, "Oh yes, the Calimari." I didn't like the sound of that. So he brings the bill back, which now reflects a 25% discount on the Calimari only. The pizza is at $8 instead of $9 less 25% discount = $6.75. I get up and bring it over to the server and inquire about why there is no discount for the Pizza or the Seafood Risotto dish. The hostess says that all Pizzas are $8 today and that that "special" price apparently overrides the 25% discount off of the regular menu price. Neat trick. Well what about the Risotto? Well, the server explains, the discount applies only to items on the menu and the Seafood Risotto is ...wait for it ... NOT ON THE MENU. The Seafood Linguini is on the menu, but not the Risotto that he cleverly convinced my wife to substitute for. He even turns toward the oversized menu at the front of the restaurant, again with furrowed brow, and runs his finger up and down the menu searching in vain for the elusive Risotto dish as if he is on my side and it's the menu that's the bad guy. But alas, there is no Risotto dish to be found so he will unfortunately have to charge us the full $27 (a couple bucks more than the Linguini menu price, just to make it sting a little more), plus tax and don't forget the mandatory SoBe 18% gratuity. Now that I've been able to get the anger out of my system through this review, I suppose that I can rescind my voodoo curse that was set to strike the owner, our hostess and our server with a rare but cruel disease which causes their internal organs to turn inside out. Instead, I hope that my review will dissuade sufficient potential customers from falling into this venus flytrap of a restaurant that they may be run out of business in short order. Godspeed.

First review of a bunch for my week long spring break stay in Miami! This was my first time in Miami so I really sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the craziness, fun, and in general laid-back atmosphere full of beautiful (mostly...), tan, half-naked people! My friends and I stumbled upon Bellini on our last day in South Beach. I was starving at 4pm after a day of tanning sans food in my belly and some filling italian pasta sounded perfect to me at that moment. We walked by and as the 2x1 drinks and 4.95$ appetizers sign caught our eyes, we were quickly absconded by the hostess (as many of the hostesses do for the restaurants on Ocean Drive as we learned our first day of strolling). She quickly told us that in addition to those great deals, on wednesdays ALL of their pastas were 10$. After a quick glance and seeing the words "gnocchi" and "bacon carbonara", I was sold. We were sat outside in a cute area and our server quickly got to us to take our drink orders. Cocktails such as Mojitos and Margaritas were 14$, Martinis were 12$, and bellinis and mimosas were 10$ and everything was 2x1. The drinks were all pretty good and strong, especially my mojito! My starving friends and I decided to all get an appetizer and share and each get a pasta. The appetizers were a GREAT deal for 4.95! There was a selective menu that included: wings & fries, margarita pizza, fried calamari, eggplant parm, and a salami and cheese platter (we got one of each!!) Everything was really delicious, especially for the price, but what was most memorable was the eggplant parm! It came sizzling hot in a plate covered with sauce and cheese and my table simply ate it up in 2 seconds!! Then came the pastas, my table of 5 got an assorted bunch of different dishes including a lobster stuffed ravioli, chicken Alfredo, and I got the linguini with scallops and asparagus. I would have to say here's why this place didn't get a higher rating from me. My pasta, though at first seemed to have potential... quickly became insanely salty after a couple bites. I simply couldn't finish one bite without taking gulps of water. I was really disappointed with the asparagus too, seemed like there were only minuscule pieces scattered around the saltiness. The only good bit was the scallops, which were the bits and pieces I picked out and could stand. From my other friend's faces and unfinished plates, I could tell that their pastas were far from satisfactory as well. Although the meal ended on a slightly disappointing note, everything else about Bellini Italian Bistro was pretty great. And can I add that all the waiters are very very italian and very attractive! Good thing they were something good to look at as I stomached the salt infused pasta ;)

Another typical Ocean Drive restaurant. Nothing amazing but good service and buy one get one drink specials even for bulldogs (aka those massive drinks with 3 beers in a huge margarita/or mojito). My sister and her friend ordered a pepperoni pizza which was okay, nothing too special. For dessert, we ordered a dairy free dessert with strawberries (I can't remember what it exactly was) and another dessert that was all strawberries and whipped cream. Both were good.

AWFUL service. This used to be one of my favorite places on Ocean Drive to eat at when I visited SOBE, but tonight the service was awful. Instead of having employees on both sides of Ocean Drive bugging tourists to eat there they need to have better service. I ate there tonight and cant remember the last time I had such bad service at a restaurant and refused to tip the server. In all fairness , food was good and the screwdriver I had was strong (although for $15 for the drink it should be). Took over a half hour to get a diet coke with my meal and could never get a refill even though they charged $4. I asked for my bill two times and after 35 minutes decided to just leave what I thought the bill would be on the table in cash. Amazing how fast a manager was to chase me down the street to say I shorted him and threatened to call the police LOL. I knew how much the Spaghetti carbonara was and guessed the screwdriver would be $12 and didnt think they would have the nerve to charge me for the diet coke or the tip (tips are automatically figured in the total in the southbeach area). I argued with the manager and did get the tip taken off. There are plenty of other places on Ocean to eat at with better service. Waiting 35 minutes for the bill is uncalled for.

"Do you have stuffed french toast or just plain french toast?" "Yes." "So, stuffed?" "Yes." We - a group of 5 - sit down inside to get away from hurricane force winds. We open the menu. No stuffed french toast. "Excuse me, do you make stuffed french toast?" "What is that?" "Stuffed. French. Toast." "Uhm. I don't think so. Let me check......No." I mean, you can't complain if you're ordering from the $4.50 breakfast menu, but if you want something other than eggs, toast and OJ for breakfast, skip this place. It's simply not worth the money for such a mediocre menu and execution and slow service.

it was okay. We came for the cheap drinks, and those were beyond lame. Super weak, and fairly bland. I also had the margarita pizza, and that was good. Also liked the basket of bread they put on the table. As it's Ocean Drive, there's always plenty of people watching to do, so that's a plus. But I doubt I'd come back. For lunch on Ocean Drive, I'd rather eat at the News Cafe.

Our first night in Miami, my boyfriend and I decided to take a walk down the famous Ocean Avenue at 10 pm in hopes of scavenging for some good food. Business is great, food looks delish, we walked all the way towards 5th street (?) and found that it's beginning to look less busy so we walked back to Bellini's because the hostess was particularly cheery. I got an overly spiked Strawberry Margarita - so fabulous, definitely worth the money. The glass it came in was the size of my face - as most restaurant in Miami seem to have. Point is, it was a great investment. I ordered jumbo shrimp cocktail and mooched off my boyfriend's lobster and steak. It was very delicious and I enjoyed the fresh seafood.

Poorly managed. Was lied to twice, by two different members of the staff. My girlfriend and I along with another couple each had a living social for Bellini. We called Bellini to see if it would be acceptable to sit at the same table and use both living social coupons. The person says yes that is fine we can simply have seperate checks. We arrive, and just to double check, ask the waiter if its ok to use 2 living socials he also says its fine and tells us we can simply get seperate checks. We order our food and drinks and everything is going fine. The 1/4 manager, what ever that means, comes over and says sorry you can't use both coupons. He says it is impossible to seperate checks. I say fine I will sit at the next table, (since nothing has come out yet.) He says ok and says he needs to call the general manager. I tell him that if I can't use my livingsocial, do not put in my food order. Instead he goes ahead and puts it in and they drop off the food before we settle the matter. Long story short the only allow us to use one living social and the manager never comes back to the table. Instead, sends over "free chocolate" which no one at the table could eat. This situation could have been so easily resolved, but the management was clueless on how to properly run a restaurant. After dropping off the food, the waitstaff avoids our table like the plague. No water refills, no eye contact, nothing. The waiter finally came over and I explained to him that it really isn't his fault and we didn't blame him. (we also left the 18 percent gratuity on the check, even though it was bad service I can understand why he felt nervous.) Table next to us also gets a 400$ check for 2 people who got a salad and a pasta dinner and a few drinks. Needles to say, I would avoid this place, which is unfortunate because the food was decent.

Gonna keep it short and sweet. Loved the hostess, promoter and the waiters. We never had to ask for a thing and they were all at ease and friendly, so much that on multiple instances they lingered at the table with a quick nice chat.. The drinks....you will get intoxicated haha. They are massive! Just a little freaked out by random people stopping by the table to try and get us to go to a club, strip joint etc... Oh and a small old lady running away from a crippled man that she had just robbed blind..entertaining to say the least...I would definitely visit again.

Total tourist trap. Make sure to ask what the price for one is when they say "two for one" deal. Also, that deal is PER PERSON! I gave additional star because I'm sure this place isn't the only place luring tourist with "two for one." Husband ordered a dish and a mojito. I ordered an appetizer and a mojito. We thought we'd get one free drink. But waitress says that was per person. Got end up with two bills. One with $50, another with $65. I asked which one am I paying? She said both. Meaning $100+ for 2 drinks, 1 entree, 1 appetizer. Oh, and they give you the total cost with gratuity already added. I almost paid gratuity x2 by almost adding more on the line for tip. Good thing I wasn't that intoxicated to not notice.

Mussels - unusually large, fishy, chewy, beards not removed. Reminded me of the time I was a moron and ordered mussels in paducah, ky. Paducah and ocean Dr, you have something in common. Lobster ravioli - water logged, definitely frozen, questionable Fettucine w/ sea scallops and asparagus - overcooked, fishy bay scallops, brown tiny bits of asparagus - inedible. Chocolate lava cake (needs 15 min) - normally you see the 15 min thing on a lava cake. Very typical. However, at other places its because it has to bake then be served immediately. Not the case here. Bellini needs that 15 min to run to Domino's to get it. Bottle of red wine - not stored propperly $150 Evidently, if you like good food, you're not supposed to eat on Ocean Dr.

We stopped in on the strip during our summer vacation a week ago. The place was cool, There wasnt anything special it was a typical italian themed restaurant on the South Beach Strip. They had a lunch special that was nice. We ordered TIlapia with lemon sauce(I think) and it was pretty flavorful. I thought it would be small because our waiter(A newyorky sounding older white gentleman) made it like the lunch is super small(Maybe he wanted us to order something more expensive to boost his tip) but it did us just fine. All in all if we come back to this restaurant it will be because we have a taste for it.

Now this place i dont think i will go back to.. I went with my fiancé. We stopped for drinks and ended up having a few appetizers. We sat in front of their gorgeous hostess who seemed to be in her own world. We sat in front of her for 1 hour and then we were ready to leave the hostess then comes upto us thinking we were new people coming by and asked up if we wanted to eat dinner and started telling us the specials. Ummm we were like we just ate right in front of you. One of the servers had to come up and stop her and told her that we just were at their location. OMG i think he felt like a fool. she may have been on something or she was just an airhead.

We were staying right next door to the place and stumbled by it numerous times. Finally, on our last day we gave it a shot and I am glad we did. This restaurant offered a nice change of pace from the typical Ocean Drive. The service was excellent (for a change) our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The meal started with warm bread and olive tapenade, which was very tasty. I ordered the mixed seafood pasta and it was delish. The pasta tasted wonderful and the dish was filled with large tender calamari, shrimp and salmon. We were also given a complimentary Bellini, which was a nice treat!

What a nice surprise. We stopped by here to eat because we were starving when we got to our hotel. The food actually turned out to be very good. The bread they served to start was nice and warm and flavored with rosemary. We ordered the calamari and a seafood dish. Both were really good. The calamari had a couple dipping sauces and the seafood dish had broth you could just drink. We didn't order any special drinks. The service was actually very slow considering the restaurant wasn't that busy. Our server kept changing for some reason. We never had the same person come back to our table. In the end, it was a nice dining experience but the service could have been a tad better.

I went here on my first night in Miami with my boyfriend. This Italian bistro is deliciously expensive that is for sure! I got the seafood linguinie since I love pasta with seafood- mussels, calamari, scallop, and salmon. My dish cost $25. It was yummy and huge. My boyfriend on the other hand got a special seafood dinner dish with king crab but his plate was $65 (he at least thought it be $40) so fyi this place is very pricey. We also got the "Special Mojitos" (strawberry and pineapple colada) the glasses were the size of our heads if not bigger! They will cost you $25 each. They are soo fruity that you can't even taste the alcohol. I loved it a lot and since I couldn't finish it, they actually gave me a to go cup. I didn't expect it to be that special lol. I did leave with a nice buzz! Amazing food! Anything here that says "Special" is very pricey!

On our trip to Miami from Cali, our hotel was just around the corner from Bellini. We ended up going to dinner on our second night in town as we had noticed from the night before that it was really crowed. We made reservations the day of for a group of 9. When we got there, the manager offered all of us a "Bellini" on the house. It was delicious!!! After being seating, we ordered appetizers and again the manager ended up giving us some of the appetizers on the house. All of the girls loved what they ordered and there were no complaints about any of the dishes. They had a special, order one regular alcoholic drink, get the second one half off. Overall, terrific place to eat, great food, reasonably priced, must try the Bellini and great atmosphere.

My beau and I stumbled upon this sidewalk bistro after a long morning run, while searching for breakfast/brunch. The thought of a "Bloody Mary in the Morning" drew me in... PROS: I ordered the Muesli, which was great! The Bloody Mary was just ok, and the coffee was strong, according to the beau, great shade, great service. CONS: The smoking was heavy outside and too many people filtered through on the sidewalk I'm sure there are better placing, in regards to food; but this place worked fine for the need, at the moment...and the price was decent.

We had a restaurant.com coupon/certificate that we got almost 2 years ago (I don't think they are available anymore), but they still were happy to accept it. We really enjoyed the olive spread that came with the bread. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken was huge and wasn't seasoned well. The Alfredo sauce was more buttery than cheesy which might be a good thing for some. Personally, I would rather go to Fridays next door than eat here again. Nothing really special about the food, but the service was excellent.

I had purchased a Living Social deal for this place months ago. After some of the bad reviews I read on Yelp, I was a little nervous that I had made a big mistake. Suffice it to say, I had lowered expectations. To my pleasant surprise (and relief), we had a very nice dinner. We ordered the calamari appetizer and each had a pasta dish (tortellini alfredo and the cortadina--penne with sausage, mushrooms, and tomato sauce). Nothin' fancy, but everything was well-prepared. And, contrary to previous reviews, the waiter we had was fabulous! He was attentive and just plain ol' nice. Yes, it's the Bentley's sidewalk bistro (so you may get some guest traffic when they check in/out). And yes, we shied away from the purported exorbitant specials. But all in all, it was a cozy, casual dining option that didn't leave us feeling jipped. You might be thinking, "Well, her expectations were already low. Anything is better than zero!" True enough. However, having a relaxed meal on the beach with some good vino, nice company and great service--what more can you ask for?

A bit of a bate-and-switch place where they get you to try them out with a coupon, but the coupon doesn't cover anything worth.... trying. But I'm sure that goes for a lot of the places on Ocean Drive. 'Learning that the harder they recruit you, the less the food speaks for itself.

Great food. My burger and fries were delicious and my boyfriend loved his lobster ravioli. The bread was good, although it did arrive half way through our meal. And finally, the bellini at the end of our meal was a surprise and we really enjoyed that. Very nice touch. The ambiance was nice. I loved the music and the seating area was cute and comfortable. And the fans blowing around us made it feel like a beautiful breezy night. Cons: 1) The valet parking turned out to be $20!! Thats such a rip off. I expected it to be $5, but apparently that's just for lunch! 2) Athough our waiter was nice, he was not attentive at all and it took nearly a half an hour before we could actually get the check to leave. So, if it werent for the parking situation and slow service, I would have given Bellini five stars. I recommend trying the restaurant, but expect to be there a while and park the car yourself upon arrival.

-Carbonara: pretty average -Grilled chicken sandwich: pretty good -20% off your bill for staying at the Bentley Beach Hotel upstairs: pretty sweet deal -Waiter who served us lunch: pretty (DAMN) hot! and oh so sweet to have constantly been checking in on

After trying to find a place on Ocean Drive that would give us the experience without taking all our money, we decided to just go for this place because they had a good pizza deal. We went the day after Mother's Day and so there were specials galore! The pizza was $8 and it was pretty good. Definitely have had better but I was hungry and went for it! I had a decent pina colada/strawberry daquiri mixed drink. The waiter was friendly but overall I am not impressed and wouldn't need to go back.

The only thing good about this place is that there happy hour special wings include fries. Thats about it. The Margaritas were all watered down, and was pretty gross. The chicken was over fried, so it was wicked crunchy. Yuck, could barely finish the food.

DO NOT EAT HERE! CROOKS AND SCAM ARTISTS! I was in Miami for a few days a couple weeks ago and ate at Bellini with a few friends. Upon sitting down and being served by a waiter that didn't speak english, we had a mediocre meal with "2 for 1" drinks, that they neglected to mention were $25 a piece. To pay I used a credit card I barely use, I used this card only once in Miami, and it was at this restaurant. A week later, I was alerted of fraudulent charges on this card, being used at several locations in Miami. They racked up over $400 of charges using a cloned card and cot me $50 to replace my card and delete the fraud charges. Being that this is the only place I used this card in Miami, it wasn't to difficult to figure out who stole my card #. I called and asked to speak to the manager. The person who answered started calling for Paulo. The manager gets on the phone, I inform of the situation and he gets very defensive and starts to say "you can't prove it". When I say that it was the only place in Miami I used the card he says "then file a police report". I then asked him what he was offering to compensate me for the inconvenience. He said "nothing". I then asked to speak to the general manager and he said he was "out of town for a few weeks". I said I would call back and asked the GM's name and he said "Paulo". I'm beyond offended and will be filing a police report.

My husband and I stumbled upon Bellini while out walking in South Beach. Service was a bit slow but the food was delicious!! Everything from our appetizer to our dessert was great! Great flavor without being super heavy. Loved the music and ambience!

Service was good. Food was bad, I ordered lamb chops for main entree and cocktail shrimps for appetizer. It was literally 4 little shrimps for $16. Drinks were overpriced..Honestly I don't care if the food its expensive as long as it taste good but it did not.

overpriced food and bad service. we only see our waiter three times. we got two lobster tails for 130 which we only found when when we got the bill. The lobsters are okay but definitely not great. We paid 267 for two people. overall, the food is okay, service is bad, and definitely overpriced!

Best mohito's!! Food is great for a good price, however the drink menu does not have prices on it, so expect a $40 drink. Good food and choices on menu. Again get a mohito here if you don't mind a $40 drink - but its worth it!

Very comfortable couches outside, on Ocean Drive everything is happening. Expensive and can be romantic.

Easy to find, valet parking was $10 otherwise it would be the typical parking nightmare in that area. Caesar salad for appetizer was very fresh and had homemade croutons! The entrées were delicious and quite a large portion. Skipped dessert so I can't say anything about that. Prices were typical for the area, stuck to the menu and avoided the "specials" as another user had suggested. Service was great, not too annoying yet we didn't feel like we were abandoned.

Food was fine and it was a great location right along Ocean Drive, we sat outside under a heater. But I got food poisoning after eating my penne with mushroom, cream, and truffle oil. My friends were fine after eating their pizza and lasagna.

Was gonna get cuban but this place twisted my appetite in full throttle by the presentation walking by. Nice place right on Ocean Avenue. Good view of beach. Sat outside by sidewalk. I had Lingiunne al frutti di mare it had Calamari, mussels, shrimp, scallops, salmon, garlic, white wine & tomato sauce was reccomended by the cute waiter. it was worth the 25 dollars . Generous amount of fresh seafood in it, the sauce was flavorful. The wait staff was very flirtatious to me and gave me a champagne with peach puree at the end on the house. it was really good.

I jsut ate at this Italian bistro down my hotel, and it was delicious. My initial plan was to go for a Spanish place, but it was raining and windy. On my way to the hotel, I spotted quite some nice food here. As it is just my hotel, we decided to try here. Actually it was a good bet, and the food is quite delicious. The lobster pasta was beautiful, but a bit pricey.

Not bad, not great. The server was friendly and attentive which helped out a little. The calamari appetizer was not great, kind of underwhelming overall. I ordered the gnocchi for my entree and while the flavor was fine (not good), they were not cooked correctly and were mushy all over. The whole texture point of gnocchi was gone. With all the pushy, in your face, $5.99 sale options on Ocean Drive I would probably just try somewhere else.

great place, i have been to Bellini many times on my stay in Miami, never disappointed once. staff is cordial and not invasive, food is delicious, and the drinks are .. bhe.. we keep them flowing for a reason. great location at the beginning of ocean dr. no need to be in the mess of the other restaurant, with table so close to each other that you practically dine with strangers. like the settings. for breakfast i recommend the fresh toast, for the dinner... great the tuna and the lobster special. it is actually special !!!

  • Loren M.

I'm not from Miami and wanted a nice place to enjoy great weather and get some work done. My friends and I were walking on Ocean Dr and stumbled upon Bellini. The staff were VERY accommodating (we needed power on the patio to use our laptops for work... They provided it without question!). The chicken parm was AWESOME! A ton of food for an excellent value.

Four of us plus an eleven month old in tow on the 4th of July expecting to fight crowds decided to try dinner around 6 and we chose Bellini's because we didn't want to spend a fortune but wanted good food. The food was pretty good, and the service was decent as well, but I wouldn't say this is $$. Definitely $$$, but even at that price I'd say it was a worthwhile experience.

Nice small place on the corner of 5th and Ocean drive. Dine there twice- for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is amazing quality. we got granola with fresh berries,,french toast and a smoked salmon with bagel. No complaints, excellent ! They have a "fixed price" breakfast for 7'99 or something, but be prepared to spend big.Add the juice, coffee, additional fruit platter and of course 18% tip and you are looking at 70$ bill for a breakfast for three people :) At dinner we went for Margarita pizza, arugula salad with avocado and salmon entree. My salad was PERFECT ! mouthwatering ! Salmon was great also.Their bread basket with delicious olive taponada topped everything. In the end everybody gets a glass of Bellini- doesn't matter if it is breakfast ,lunch or dinner.Nice touch. Waiters are very friendly, try to help you with a special order if you don't see what you want on the menu.

Strolled down Ocean Avenue one evening...even though we had just eaten dinner, couldn't help but breathe in the mouth-watering aromas of Italian food coming from the sidewalk tables of Bellini's. Made a return trip the next day for lunch! i had the Linguine Capesante Asparagi Pancetta, which is pan seared sea scallops, asparagus, crispy pancetta and a lobster tomato reduction. My son had Gnocchi Di Patate Pomodoro e Basilico, which is potato dumplings in tomato sauce with basil. Both were delicious! The complimentary focaccia bread was served with a delicious olive tapenade. Our waitress was helpful and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our entrees were served and the wait was just right - long enough to enjoy the foccacia and tapenade! To end this lovely meal, she surprised us with little complimentary Bellini's...nice AND delicous! If you're looking for a wonderful Italian meal while in South Beach, give Bellini's a try!

ATMOSPHERE: Very trendy, dimly lit interior with plenty of outdoor seating as is the case with most places on ocean drive. Outdoor seating with heaters. Good view of the park. FOOD: They were very willing to accommodate my vegetarian diet and modify menu items to my liking. Pizzas are also served although not on the menu. We ordered: 1 Caprese salad - fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were good. Drizzled balsamic vinegar with some other green sauce which really didn't contribute to taste. Pretty standard. 2. Gnocchi with basil/garlic tomato sauce - I've never had gnocchi before but I wasn't a fan of this. The gnocchi was not as chewy as I expected and was kind of mushy..... little bit like nougat consistency. 3. Veggie panini - Since I didn't like the gnocchi too much I proceeded to order the veggie panini. It was on French bread and had lettuce, tomato, zucchini, and eggplant. This was quite bland and needed some cheese or something!! Usually the flavor of bread compliments a sandwich but in this case only contributed to the bland flavor. 4. Side salad - excellent! Came with veggie panini. Mixed dark greens with shredded carrots and a vinaigrette that was a bit sweet. I guess I was really craving salad. 5. Spinach ravioli - very good. Cream sauce and fattening but this was the best thing I tasted there. 6. Every meal comes with some side bread and black olive spread - bread was white and plain but the black olive spread was delicious. I forgot to ask if they had wheat. 7. Dessert - pineapple carpaccio with pink pepper and lemon sorbet - some weird fruity dessert that wasn't very impressive. Very thinly sliced pineapple lined the plate with some glaze at the bottom topped with some strawberries, chocolate syrup, and a scoop of lemon sorbet. Looked pretty but wasn't that good. 8. Black coffee - horrible.... I'm more into European and Vietnamese coffee straight black with some Splenda. This coffee had a weird after taste and was kind of sour. I think this is a standard coffee you would find at a waffle house. 9. Cheese platter - pecorino, which we requested (not on menu) SERVICE: Excellent! Our server was a hot Romanian guy that knew sooo much about cheeses from his experience as a waiter at another restaurant. Even though Bellini did not have a wide cheese selection - only mozzarella, Parmesan, and pecorino, he knew we were interested and cheese and made some excellent suggestions. He even wrote up a synopsis the aforementioned cheeses he suggested and gave them to me later. Although there were some misses on filling water promptly it seemed to be the fault of the "waiter's assistants" who were responsible for filling up water and getting extra bread. PRICES: I don't know how often the do this but everything was 1/2 off on the Monday night we went, which made everything reasonably priced considering the quality of food which was not that great. PARKING: Parked in a parking deck. CONCLUSION: I'm usually not an Italian restaurant fan so I would not come solely for the food but would come back for the service and atmosphere since they were both great.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
